Fundraising is about money and sometimes - very rarely - money can be about cool animals. MONEY TRIVIA - - - Did you know - - - The Belize $100 bill features the endangered Belizean Yellow-headed Parrot (2nd bird from right) among a veritable bestiary of native critters including the: king vulture, magnificent frigate bird, cormorant, pelican, jabiru stork, keel-billed toucan and tapir. The Belize $20 is even more species-rich than the $100 with 10 native animals depicted, including the jaguar (twice). Unfortunately, the image of Queen Elizabeth II also graces each and every Belize bill or coin. Belize currency is pegged at $2BZD to $1USD, which either means that prices are either half of what you think they are or double, depending on which "dollar" the reference point is. To my knowledge, the only two non-human animals depicted on currency of the United States (other than the new quarters) is the bald eagle and the American bison. Does anyone have a different answer?
